Recommendations and Letters of Reference
“Thorough and honest”.
Inspector Gifford, Building Inspector local Building Department, the City of Newton.
It was my first month Consulting for and project managing for a new company, Mr. Robert Young, owner, New England Stone. I was walking in front of the building inspector on the way to inspect a project. One of the first permits, I pulled working for somebody else and besides myself. I was feeling a little bit down and I Inspector Gifford. I turned, and I said, “what do you remember when you working with me years back over the years?”
He rifled back, literally …..
“Thorough and honest”.
As my ears heard and my brain, comprehended the words, from that moment, I was propelled forward, the words of that Inspector lifted my spirits, and reminded me from that moment that I was respected. If he only knows the greatness that he had bestowed upon me, by giving me that compliment,
I am Forever grateful To inspector Gifford.
Inspector Frank M. DeAngelus.

Letter of Reference from Carole Aghassi, my ex-wife
To Whom it May Concern,
I write this letter as an attestation of an individual that I have the honor of knowing for the past 35 years. Karl Aghassi is a hardworking, honest man who is true to his word and keeps a promise no matter what the situation is.
Karl’s work ethics are impeccable, he masters perfection, and his explicit detail to original style and time are spot on. When Karl is engaged in a project, his full attention to the project is always his focus. Karl works well with the subcontractors and has a great deal of knowledge of keeping a synergy between the trades, keeping them on schedule, and all the while, if there are no unforeseen damages prior to the project’s commencement, keeping to the client’s budget. Karl’s clients, as seen by his numerous recommendations, express their satisfaction and genuine praise for the quality of work Karl has completed.
Besides work, Karl has proven to be an amazing father, a true friend, and a leader in his community. If you have any questions about Karl Aghassi’s qualifications, please feel free to contact me. I am happy to be transparent with my experiences.
With much appreciation,

Attorney Arthur Z Bookstein – first Newton client 30 years ago called me and asked me to do another job 30 years later.
To whom it may concern,
During the spring and summer of 2022, Karl Aghassi executed a wide variety of project at our home in Lincoln. Projects included, power washing, installing out-door speakers, fixing an aging swing set, carpentry and painting. All Karl’s work was of high quality, and I recommend him whole heartedly.
I recall a conversation with him about fixing the swing-set. Before fixing, it was borderline unsafe and as a father he wanted to get it back into a condition that he would be comfortable having his own children use it. He applied this level of care and consideration in his other projects as well.
Karl was prompt, courteous and respectful around the house. He purchased supplies as need but has always careful not to over purchase and get approval spending. I look forward to working with him again. Happy to discuss live.

Recommendations Showing Knowledge on Real Estate and Curb Appeal
This is an important client. I had subcontractors show up and tell me they have spoken to him and know that he is a construction litigation attorney and did not want to work on this job for him, because they were worried.
I told them “just do your job and he’ll be fine”.
I was correct. I did my job. I hired the guys and over saw them very carefully and he was an excellent client. Friendly.
This recommendation is from Russell Conn. It’s an addendum to the original recommendation. He was sending me this letter to tell me that because of our work that he sold the house very quickly.
